Jurassic-era Species on the Way to Extinction
The leatherback sea turtle, contemporary of the dinosaurs and survivor of the Ice Age, could disappear forever due to direct threats like the plundering of its eggs and contamination of its habitat, and the impact of human activities like tourism and industrial-scale fishing.
